How did permethrin originate, and what are its uses?
Permethrin is a man-made version of a natural insect repellent found in certain chrysanthemum plants. Permethrin has been successfully used in the United States as an U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered product since 1977, with an excellent safety record. Which insects does Insect Shield repel?
Insect Shield Repellent Apparel has been proven and registered to repel mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers, and midges (no-see-ums). Nissan Xterra World Championship - Final Finisher
Bobby McMullen gets the honor of closing out the 10th Nissan Xterra World Championship. A cheering crowd created a make-shift finish line, flanked by CBS camera crews, fans, athletes and USA Champion Jamie Whitmore. McMullen, a Redding, CA resident is legally blind and was assisted in today's race Mark Shaw. McMullen told the crowd this was the first race he's done in years that he didn't trip and fall - an amazing feat considering the number of able-bodied racers who cross the line covered and battered from the lava fields. His finish time - was 7:45:11. Congratulations to Bobby and Mark

Velocity Speedsuit

For the second year in a row, the XTERRA WETSUITS – Velocity Speedsuit posted the fastest swim time of the day at the Ironman World Championships.
In 2007, Mark Van Akkeren posted the fastest swim split with a time of 49:50. This year, Noa Sakamoto posted the fastest swim split with a time of 47:01 wearing a new version of the XTERRA WETSUITS- Velocity Speedsuit. John Flanagan, (also wearing a XTERRA WETSUITS- Velocity Speedsuit) was only 1 second behind Noa posting a time of 47:02. The XTERRA WETSUITS- Velocity Speedsuit was victorious by more than one minute and 30 seconds faster than the next swimmer Andy Potts.
